Raising the Bar on Care

Cascadia was formed when partners from the skilled nursing and real estate development industry joined forces with a common purpose in mind – to provide a high level of care to patients and families within the region they call home. Our goal is to provide a motivating environment for our employees based on the values of quality work, empowerment and accountability. Cascadia is driven by honest hard work and we believe that strong partnerships and quality care are the outcome. Our vision is to provide personalized care in a caring, comfortable setting. Our goal is to help patients return home or obtain a lesser level of care as soon as possible. Our facilities provide occupational, physical and speech therapy services as ordered by your doctor. Some of our facilities offer specialized services such as memory care, subacute care, and more. Cascadia also provides Home Health, Homecare, and Hospice Services through Bluebird Health. New in 2022, Cascadia is now operating Assisted Living facilities throughout Idaho.

The Division of Public Health in the Department of Health and Welfare (DHW) established a new Idaho Healthcare Directive Registry in October 2021. The new registry is a secure online web-based system where Idahoans can safely view, create, store, and share their healthcare advance directive on a 24-hour basis, 7-days a week. Creating and storing an advance directive in the registry offers peace of mind knowing an individual’s documents are available to family members and healthcare professionals whenever they are needed. The new registry allows Idaho healthcare professionals access to search or create a new patient account, view pre-existing advance directives, or help a patient create a new electronic advance directive. Additionally, an electronic Physician Orders for Scope of Treatment (POST) form can be completed online, signed digitally by both patient and provider, and immediately moved to the patient’s registry account once submitted.

Idahoans improving brain health and reducing the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and dementias together!

A new state program, the Idaho Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) Program, wants Idahoans to know that they have some control over how healthy their brains are through their lifestyle choices. The program aims to increase Idahoans’ awareness of brain health across the lifespan, methods for risk-reduction and delaying dementia symptoms, the benefits of early diagnosis, and what services and supports are available for persons with dementia and their family caregivers.
